Who is SimplyLyss?
A corporate professional with a passion for design; that's what makes up SimplyLyss. My name is Alyssa Girard (Lyss, for short). For the past 18 years, I've been working in Corporate America; holding senior leadership roles for some of the leading companies across the country. I’ve found myself throughout most of my life rearranging furniture and decorating spaces; often redoing rooms repeatedly as to keep myself busy. In my adult life, we’ve moved a lot, which has provided me with several opportunities to redesign spaces, decorate and stage to sell. As my friends and family began complimenting me on my decorating style, asking for recommendations and even asking for help, I began questioning if I was spending my time where I was truly meant to be. So, with a pep in my step and a risk to take; SimplyLyss was born; a business to take the anxiety and complication out of the interior design and home decorating process. My end goal is for you to fall in love again with your home because life’s too short to just settle for bland.

I pride myself in creating designs that transform rooms without having to take down walls or perform major renovations. It's amazing how much can be accomplished with a little paint, new lighting and some stylish decor.

- Two hours of design advising in your home.
- I will guide you through making changes to your space using items you already own and love.
- This is the perfect option for individuals who love what they have, but have no idea how to bring it to life in their space (styling shelves, mantles or coffee tables, arranging furniture or placing art on walls).
- This is also a great option if you are starting a project and need help finalizing selections like fixtures, lighting, hardware, and paint.
Room Makeover

- One-hour FREE consultation in your home to see the space you'd like to makeover, take photos, measurements and gather inspiration from you on style.
- Based on the in home consultation, I'll begin drafting the design plan.
- With this service, you'll receive a rendering of your room and a mood board, including options for furnishings and accessories.
- You choose to execute the plan or you can hire me to complete.
Stage to Sell
Design Consultation
Stage to Sell
- One hour consultation in your home to take a look at your space in order to get an idea of what needs to happen in order to get your home ready to sell.
- After the initial visit, we'll set a date for me to come back and execute our plan, whether that's simply utilizing your items to stage most effectively or the need to declutter, clean and than stage.
